I had tried a number of online ski training programmes over the years, with varying success. Working out one-on-one with Matt and following his Snowfit programme was by far the better option for me. I got vastly fitter than I had ever been, and my fitness was really ski-specific. It made a significant improvement to my performance on the slopes. I have just returned from a three week trip to France where I enjoyed 14 days off piste skiing with guides and a few days resort skiing on piste. The off piste skiing was at times demanding and I was sometimes out of my comfort zone, however, thanks to Matt's training regime my ski fitness was never in doubt. I was able to ski long runs without stopping and my recovery between runs was swift. I have been training with Matt for over two years and there have been incremental improvements in my ski fitness each season. This means I can really enjoy my skiing and as a result I am continuing to improve and refine my technique. Thanks Matt and keep up the good work!

Matt Thomson and SnowFit are brilliant. I have had the pleasure of working with him doing dryland sessions as preparation for my winter seasons as an alpine ski racing coach, he is fantastic at diagnosing athlete/client weaknesses or needs, and constructing a training tailor-made to the individual. I am particularly fond of the way he is able to educate his clients on the how, what and why behind training so it becomes easier to understand and self manage. His warmup chats on the treadmill are also top notch as well.

Matt has been working with my son Flynn a ski racer for almost the last two years. With the increase in strength and agility made in the gym Flynn has been able to become more activated and get more movement while keeping his upper body quiet. Flynn’s skiing is visibly stronger and the gains made in the off season are clear to see.
Matt has been training Ava (11) and Bella (9) for the last 3 years in both group and 1-1 environments. In the early years of ski racing children are advised to participate in a wide range of sports to help physical and mental development. Matt has built a program for the girls which has made gym work fun and exciting and part of a wider program of activities. As they mature, dryland training is just part of their normal ski training which they look forward to in both winter and summer.
